Mega Man II is a game that is for the Game Boy. This is not the same game as Mega Man 2 on the NES. It is the sequel to the first Mega Man game on Game Boy. It is a continuation of the popular Mega Man franchise. To be specific, it is with the classic series.

Dr. Wily was defeated in the earlier game. He is hatching another plan using defeat robots. Mega Man must stop him from taking over the world. Traveling through time, Dr. Wily is looking to fight fire with fire. Elaborating on it, he thought if he captured Mega Man from another timeline alongside turning him evil, he may have a chance. It’s up to Mega Man to save the day. In summary, Mega Man II has a story that is straightforward.

The robot masters in the game are from Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3. Because only four are fought at a time, it is divided up.  For instance, the first batch are from Mega Man 2. After completing the mid-stage, the other batch are from Mega Man 3.

After completing the stages from the Mega Man 3 robots, the final levels will be played. There is another robot that was exclusive to the Game Boy games. It is Quint. He is supposed to be the Mega Man from the future that got corrupted. Dr. Wily had taken Mega Man and reprogrammed. He has the Sakugarne, which is his weapon of choice. Mega Man II is a decent game.

While it will not be considered better than the NES versions, they are not bad games to play at all. To find this game, it is best to look online using stores like Amazon or eBay. It is possible it could be at a retro gaming store. Gaming conventions may have this game.
